A Letter from Jay Bolotin

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

There is now available, a beautiful catalog, published by the University of Richmond (Va) Museums, of the completed version of The Book of Only Enoch, with plates of all the images and a transcription of the text. I am honored that there are two essays. One is by one of the country's most formidable essayists, Dr. Ilan Stavans - the other by a remarkable scholar, Dr. Kathleen Skerrett.

This was published on the occasion of the museum's exhibition of the completed portfolio, which will be open from now through January of 2016.  It will then travel to Bates College Museum (Maine).

Work continues on the motion picture (part two of The Jackleg Testament) in which this portfolio, purportedly a (formerly) lost manuscript, shows up at the abode of a Puppeteer, with unforeseen results all around. There are exciting prospects of working with some remarkable actors
and musicians - and I hope to keep you informed of the motion picture's progress. I hope to complete it in three or four years.

Here is where you can get the catalog:

And here is a discussion with Dr. Skerrett - possible entertainment on a rainy Autumn eve.
or:

My best wishes for a memorable Autumn, Jay
